The brief for this kitchen was simple; sleek and stylish, yet practical and durable. Because this was a custom designed and built kitchen, the client had autonomy to decide on specific requirements, like the size and height of drawers and shelving.

To do this, the client provided us with a list of heights for certain appliances, pantry items and glassware, to ensure these would fit into the various drawers and shelves.

The design team at Creative Kitchens met all of these requirements, with a design and layout that worked. All items fit perfectly and the end result was both stylish and practical.

For a minimalist look we recommended aluminium strip handles, with Blum soft closing Antaro drawers and Blum inserta soft closing hinges.

A 30mm thick Absolute Black granite benchtop adds lustre and shine, providing a dramatic contrast to the white Gloss Dezignatek cabinetry.

The dramatic Silestone upstand doubles as a splashback, feature and cavity to place powerpoints, as well as adding privacy to the sink area.

As a final touch, remote controlled LED strip lighting was added, bringing the whole effect to life.
