After constructing a new home in Blockhouse Bay, the client wanted to have a kitchen that matched the modern building in both functionality and appearance. They approached Creative Kitchens for some ideas in bringing their dream kitchen to life. In response, Creative Kitchens came up with a kitchen as functional as it is modern.

Hardware was provided by Blum. While the electronics are top-of-the-line, the true centerpiece of the kitchen is the beautiful breakfast bar. The stone benchtop on both the breakfast bar and the rest of the kitchen is made of Caesar pure white engineered stone that is 100mm thick. The angled design is sure to catch attention. Coupled with the LED lighting underneath, this gives the whole feature a wonderfully modern feel. The Creative Kitchens team also designed a coloured splashback in bright Zoom Hot Red, made with Cosmic tempered glass, to add some colour to the kitchen. The bright red was also added to some of the internal doors to provide more flow between rooms. The appropriately minimalistic design is completed with the 750mm sink provided by Icon.

The rangehood, provided by Eisno, is again chosen to match the modern theme of the house. The shape is unusual compared to standard rangehoods and draws the eye, yet it fits perfectly in this modern-style kitchen. The Creative Kitchens team made full use of the space they were given, fitting in 3 drawers below the steam oven, and adding a walk-in scullery.

The whole look is rounded off with a stunning 2 pot gloss lacquer, resulting in a truly elegant and modern kitchen fit for a beautiful new home.
